- Poker chips — practice cutting, stacking, counting and pushing pots like the pros
- Chip tray — learn to keep a clean bank and make change the way you will in the box
- Dealer button — move it every hand and learn to track the blinds and the action
- Lammers — the markers dealers use to track buy-ins, blinds and players who are away from the table
- Cut card — essential for standard dealing procedure: protects the bottom card of the deck on every hand
- Rubber table topper — the feel of dealing on felt, on any table at home

Fifty an hour in the box
Poker dealers earn an hourly wage, a guaranteed cut of the tournament fees for every "down" they deal, and tokes — tips from players — on top. WSOP tournament director Jack Effel has said dealers can make upwards of $50 an hour at the Series, and the 2026 series paid $14.2 million to dealers and staff out of the tournament fees alone. Two shifts a week at a room near you is real side income; full-time poker dealers in Las Vegas make a real living.
